Chapa Express Train has 7 private cabins which are decorated in traditional Sapa designs and well-appointed with comfortable beds, air-conditioning, reading lights, luxury furniture, wood-paneling, clean toilets, hot water and heaters. There will be also complimentary drinks, snacks, and cold or hot towels to welcome passengers to get in the train.
Each cabin in Chapa Express Train has 4 berth which can be transferred to Deluxe cabin with VIP 2-berth Cabin upon guest’s requirement. In addition to above listed amenities, other available services in the train included slippers, candy, pie, or biscuits; mineral, water… The modern amenities and the enchanting luxury will make the guests journey from Hanoi to Lao Cai become enjoyable and menorable.

Type of Cabin

VIP 2-Berth Cabin has 2 seperatly single soft beds wich are very comfortable with fully luxury equipments in cabin.
Deluxe 4-Berth Cabin. This compartment has 4 soft sleeper beds, suitable for large families, friends, or big group. The individual traveller loves this choice very much to enjoy the trip and save the budget.

Departure time

Departs Hanoi train station at 22:00PM and arrive 06:20AM next morning. Kindly convene on the 2nd floor of the main hall at Gate 2A, Ha Noi Station (located at 120 Le Duan Street) 45 minutes to reconfirm and get in boarding the Chapa Express Train.
Departs Lao Cai train station at 21:40PM and arrive Hanoi 05:20AM nex morning. Kindly convene at Chapa Lounge (located in waiting room 2 at Lao Cai station) 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Our representatives will be present to extend a welcome and assist you in boarding the Chapa Express Train.

Reservations

Tickets can be booked through various online platforms, travel agencies. It’s advisable to book in advance, especiall during peak travel seansons. And here on our website you can book directly for your trip easily and quickly, we will book the tickets and send you the train voucher through email quickly.
You will save the voucher the exchange for the actual tickets at counter in Hanoi and Lao cai railways station to check in our train 45 minutes before to get in the train.

Explain some other information

VIP 2-berth cabin must be bought in whole. Single person who travels on VIP cabin have to pay moth tickets.
Free of charge for children under 5 years old sharing parent’s existing berths
Restroom is not in cabin and only open when the train run
Surcharge Lunner New Year 15% from 27th of Jan 2025 to 1st Feb 2025.

Refund/Cancellation time

From: 00 - 15 days before departure time: You will not be refunded the tickets price you paid.
More than 15 days before departure time: You will be refund 100% of the tickets price you paid.
