Fansipan is the highest mountain in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, earning it the title "Roof of Indochina." Standing at 3,147.3 meters (10,326 feet) above sea level, Fansipan is part of the Hoàng Liên Sơn mountain range, located in Lào Cai Province, Vietnam, about 9 km from Sapa town.

Cat Cat village is located about 2km from the center of Sapa town, in San Sa Ho commune, Sapa district, Lao Cai province. This is an ancient village of the H'Mong people, famous for its wild natural scenery and unique culture.

The first H'mong people to come to Sapa were mainly concentrated in the Hoang Lien range about 300 years ago.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve was established in 1999, with an area of ​​17,662 hectares, including 13,320 hectares of strictly protected areas and 4,343 hectares of ecological restoration areas. Pu Luong is the name of the Thai ethnic people, meaning the highest mountain peak in the region. Pu Luong is a nature reserve with scientific, socio-economic and eco-tourism value.
