This trip is not a popular trip in Sapa, you will have your own road and see other parts of Sapa that few people know, local villages with local people you can meet and contact friendly people, discover some villages that are mysterious, deep in the mountains and sometimes forgotten. 07:30 - 08:00: Our local guide with a car will come and pick you up from your accommodation then start the journey.
The trip begins from Ban Khoang village far from Sapa town about 12 km, so it takes about 20 ~ 30 minutes to reach the local village road. The road in Ban Khoang now is upgraded better than before to make it easier for local people to travel easier.
From Sapa along national road 4D for 8 km to O Quy Ho with several stops for magnificent landscapes of Fansipan Mountain and Sin Chai valley and especially amazing flower and vegetable farms, you can admire before 1 part of the longest pass in Vietnam.
08:30 - Arrive at the village entrance of Ban Khoang village
From here you will discover the local things in H’mong village that are not touristy and you can see the view on the way, you will see water buffalo, chickens, dogs, pigs and beautiful landscapes of terraced fields and mountains. Admire Ngu Chi Son is just a majestic mountain with the shape of five fingers pointing up to the sky.
Ban Khoang is a small, pristine and peaceful village, located in the middle of majestic nature, and is mainly inhabited by ethnic minorities such as the Dao and H'mong people. Ban Khoang is famous for its beautiful natural landscape, including green hills, forests, and terraced fields. During the rice harvest season, the terraced fields here are covered in bright yellow, creating a very poetic and charming scene.
11:30 - 12:00: Have lunch at Ta Phin village - the original Red Dao village.
After a morning of trekking, you will arrive at Ta Phin Village and stop at a small local restaurant run by a Red Dao family. You will enjoy lunch with local dishes in village space, admiring the beautiful mountain scenery. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Ta Phin village.
13:00 - Discover Ta Phin Village and try some local things here, visit Ta Phin Cave and the craft area and interact with the locals
After lunch, you will continue walking through rice fields and beautiful scenery to Ta Phin Village - home to the Red Dao people. Here, you have free time to walk around the village, learn about the life and culture of the Red Dao people.
Coming to Ta Phin, visitors will see the image of Red Dao women in colorful traditional costumes. They sit and embroider, making brocade products such as scarves, bags, and clothes dyed with indigo.
The guide will take you to visit some traditional houses of the people, explore the famous caves in the village, and experience the typical living space of the Red Dao people.
14:30 - 15:00: Come to the local Red Dao house and take a herbal bath, stay 1 night here to enjoy the village night atmosphere.
You will learn about the herbal leaves and the way that the Red Dao people make the herbs. This type of bath uses herbs collected from the forest by the Red Dao people, which have a relaxing and health-enhancing effect.
This is an opportunity to relax after a day of trekking, experience more local culture and enjoy relaxing moments. Have a good sleep to refill energy.
08:30 - 09:00: After breakfast at homestay, the local guide come to you and start the morning trek to Trung Chai village
Trung Chai is a land located in the Northeast of Sa Pa town. When mentioning Trung Chai, it is impossible not to mention the names of villages that evoke many mysteries about distant lands such as Vu Lung Sung, Chu Lin, Mong Sen, Sin Chai, Po Si Ngai...
Trung Chai has a rather rugged and complex terrain because the villages and hamlets mainly cling to the slopes of towering mountains, below are streams, waterfalls, above are primeval forests. Therefore, the space here is vast with trees and leaves, the majesty of mountains and forests, the fierce sound of streams and waterfalls.
12:00: Have lunch at Trung Chai village, H’Mong people will cook for you and you try the local food in the local house as H’mong people here.
13:30: Continue to explore this village with the countryside view
Terraced fields are the feat of the people here in their journey to conquer nature to create a prosperous life. From the foot of the mountain, along the streams to the top of the mountain, the Trung Chai people have reclaimed the land, brought water to create terraced fields running around the mountainside, the space here has a special color compared to other lands.
15:00: Our private car will pick you up to go back to your accommodation in Sapa town. At the end of the trip, you enjoy the night in town.
