08:00 - 08:30: Pick up at Sapa town and start the trip
The local guide will meet you at the meeting point in Sapa town, provide a brief introduction to the journey and guide you through some necessary trekking skills, re-check the necessary things to travel.
08:30 - 09:00:Start trekking from Sapa town, walk to the Southeast along Muong Hoa valley.
The first village is Y Linh Ho village - a village of the Black H'mong people, learn about the life, culture of the H'mong people and the wild natural scenery here.
The road to the village is usually a small trail, passing through terraced fields and majestic mountains. This road can be a bit steep, but in return is the poetic scenery of mountains and forests and simple wooden houses. At Y Linh Ho, you will see vast terraced fields, especially beautiful in the golden rice season (August) or the flooding season (May) or green rice fields (from June to July). This is an ideal place to take photos, observe the daily activities of the people and admire the rice fields with their characteristic terraced structure.
10:30 - 11:00 - Continue trekking to Lao Chai village
Go 3 km further to Lao Chai village - a large village of the Black H'mong people. Cross the small bridge to enter Muong Hoa valley, enjoy the peaceful scenery of the valley.
To reach this village, our local guide will lead you through the rice terraces with the local road few tourists and up a bit so that you can see the nice view of Muong Hoa valley.
From above, you will see terraced fields stretching along the hillsides and winding along the Muong Hoa stream. Lao Chai has many stops for visitors to sightsee and take photos.
12:00 - 12:30: Have lunch with local food in the restaurant in Lao Chai village near the river.
Try the local food or if you would like to have a picnic lunch on the uphill to chill the countryside atmosphere, the road we take you will have interesting places to enjoy.
13:30 - 14:00: Walk to see Ta Van village with the large rice terraces and interact with Giáy people - a popular minority ethnic in Ta Van.
After lunch, continue trekking about 3 km to Ta Van village - home to the Giay ethnic group.
Discover the daily life, culture and traditional costumes of the Giay people, different from the H'Mong people in Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai. This is a quite famous village for tourists, because the families here have homestay services, allowing guests to stay and experience local life.
Ta Van has a very special landscape, with the Muong Hoa stream flowing through the village. The traditional stilt houses of the Giay people are interspersed with terraced rice fields, creating a peaceful and poetic picture of the countryside.
15:30: Arrive at local homestay or local house of minority ethnic people, overnight here 1 night to enjoy the village night.
After all day trekking hard, you will have time to relax and this time to have a talk together, deeply understanding about the life in the village, and listen to nature sounds from the countryside. Refill energy for the next day with full power.
08:30 - 9:00: After breakfast, follow the local trail to see the Muong Hoa valley from the high mountain in Ta Van village. Trekking to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao people
From Ta Van, you will walk through the rice fields and cross small trails to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao people. Here, you will meet the locals with their traditional red costumes, with sophisticated embroidery patterns and silver jewelry.
10:30 - 11:00 – Crossing the bamboo forest and waterfall
Continuing the journey, you will walk through the lush green bamboo forest. This section will bring you the experience of being immersed in nature, with a cool and pleasant feeling when crossing the tall bamboo groves.
12:00 – Have lunch at a local home and try local food by the Red Dao people, see the nice view from there, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains and terraced fields.
13:00: Go up the hill in Giang Ta Chai village to see more scenery
You will pass through the rice fields, take pictures with the beautiful surrounding landscape., and enjoy the fresh air of the tropical forest. Giang Ta Chai village is a small village but you can see many things here. The Red Dao people live with unique customs, their dress is beautiful, and the details make you attracted.
14:00: After Giang Ta Chai, you will reach Su Pan village, this is H’mong village few tourists know and there are many rice fields, row and row of mountains, from here you can see all of Muong Hoa valley and the mountain of Sapa town and Fansipan.
15:00: Reach to Ban Ho village - the village of Tay ethnic, different experience for your trip
Ban Ho is famous for the Muong Hoa stream flowing through it, creating small lakes, including some natural hot springs where visitors can relax. In the summer, the weather in Ban Ho is cool, ideal for relaxation and experiencing the peaceful life of the Tay people, while in the winter the air becomes colder, but still attracts many visitors because of its wild and majestic beauty.
The Tay people in Ban Ho still preserve many unique traditional cultural features, from the typical stilt house architecture to costumes, dances and folk songs. Stay one more night here and you can enjoy Tay's food, you also can try to take a bath in a hot springs pool to refill energy to have a good sleep.
07:30 - 08:00: Wake up in the morning and enjoy the fresh air in the countryside, have breakfast at homestay.
09:00: Continue the journey with the local guide, you start from Ban Ho homestay to Thanh Phu
Trekking through terraced fields and clear streams. Along the way, you will see beautiful natural scenery, especially in the ripe rice season. You will pass through the Tay people's living area, where there are traditional stilt houses and peaceful scenery.
10:00: Arrive at Thanh Phu village, walk from Ban Ho to Thanh Phu Village will offer fabulous scenery and a chance to explore, meet and witness the current life of the Tay in the villages.
On the way, visitors can see vast valleys with streams winding their ways in a poetic surrounding. Thanh Phu is an area where many people live. You will see the center of the village and sometimes you can see the local market where the local people buy and sell a variety of goods.
11:00: Trekking to Nam Sai village - far from Sapa town about 35 km, see another world of rice fields and different trekking (non-tourist)
From Thanh Phu, you continue trekking through the trails, through the mountains and forests to reach Nam Sai. This route has beautiful scenery and will be an interesting experience for those who love wild nature.
12:00: Arrive at Nam Sai and have lunch in local family
Arrive at Nam Sai - a peaceful village of the H'Mong and Red Dao people. Here, you will have lunch at a local house or homestay (if arranged in advance) with traditional dishes of the ethnic minorities, both simple and rich in local flavor.
13:00: Explore Nam Sai after lunch, you can walk around Nam Sai to see more views.
Nam Sai is still a new name, not many people know. Previously, Nam Sai was a poor commune because of the highland terrain, difficult roads. When coming here, you will also be fascinated by the rice fields surrounding the hillside, running far away to the stream bank. In every season in Nam Sai, the terraced fields are beautiful, that is the beauty of peaceful green, of the rich golden season and the somewhat barren water pouring season.
14:30: Trekking to the main road, center of Nam Sai village to wait for the car with a local guide.
From Nam Sai, you will walk to the meeting point where the car will pick you up to go back to Sapa town. The way back from here is easier, through fields and fairly flat trails.

In case the company cancels due to insufficient number of guests: If the tour requires a minimum number of guests and not enough people register, the company will refund the full cost or transfer guests to another tour.
