Sapa has changed a lot over the last 20 years, and if you have been to Sapa about five or ten years ago and now you come back to Sapa, the beauty in the past might not be found again.
As an indigenous person living and growing up in Sapa, we want to take you to the places that few tourists visit, where you will enjoy nature’s natural beauty and the fresh air without worries. And very few tourists will know about it.
We designed this tour to help you have an excellent experience, get out of the noisy place of the Sapa tourist area to discover the nature and unspoiled Sapa. This tour will take you to remote villages that still retain the national identity and traditions of the family. During that time, you will see very few tourists going to where you are.

9:00 AM: Our guide will meet you at your accommodation, start the trekking journey
After a short introduction, you will be taken by our local experience to the first village of Y Linh Ho. You will admire the most beautiful terraced rice fields
We arrived in Y Linh Ho, a village of Black Hmong people. Here, we will walk across a hanging bridge to the next side of the Hoa Lien Son mountain. You will see the Back Hmong ethnic people’s daily life and learn more about their culture and traditions. This tribble has a unique arranged marriage, and best traditional skill house building. Our guide will show you the indigo and hemp used to make traditional clothes.
10:30 - 11:00 - Continue trekking to Lao Chai village
Go 3 km further to Lao Chai village - a large village of the Black H'mong people. Cross the small bridge to enter Muong Hoa valley, enjoy the peaceful scenery of the valley.
To reach this village, our local guide will lead you through the rice terraces with the local road few tourists and up a bit so that you can see the nice view of Muong Hoa valley.
From above, you will see terraced fields stretching along the hillsides and winding along the Muong Hoa stream. Lao Chai has many stops for visitors to sightsee and take photos.
12:00 - 12:30: Have lunch with local food in the restaurant in Lao Chai village near the river.
Try the local food or if you would like to have a picnic lunch on the uphill to chill the countryside atmosphere, the road we take you will have interesting places to enjoy.
13:30 - 14:00: Walk to see Ta Van village with the large rice terraces and interact with Giáy people - a popular minority ethnic in Ta Van.
After lunch, continue trekking about 3 km to Ta Van village - home to the Giay ethnic group.
Discover the daily life, culture and traditional costumes of the Giay people, different from the H'Mong people in Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai. This is a quite famous village for tourists, because the families here have homestay services, allowing guests to stay and experience local life.
Ta Van has a very special landscape, with the Muong Hoa stream flowing through the village. The traditional stilt houses of the Giay people are interspersed with terraced rice fields, creating a peaceful and poetic picture of the countryside.
16:00: We will arrive at the homestay, where your local host family will welcome you.
You will then have some time to rest, take a hot shower, and get ready for your dinner – if you want, you will also have the chance to participate in an informal cooking class!
07:30: When you wake up the following day and open the window, you can see the clouds flowing through the valley while the sun rises above the mountains.
09:30: After a nice breakfast in the homestay, we will begin the next day’s trek.
From the village, we will walk uphill until we reach a bamboo forest. We keep walking until we reach the top of a waterfall. From here, you have a beautiful view of Giang Ta Chai village.
This village is mainly inhabited by the Red Dao ethnic group, with its own unique culture and customs. The Red Dao people in Giang Ta Chai are famous for their traditional herbal medicines and herbal bath services. In addition, the villagers also preserve the traditions of house architecture, ethnic costumes, and traditional festivals.
When coming to Giang Ta Chai, visitors can explore the vast bamboo forests, walk across streams, or conquer waterfalls and surrounding mountain ranges
11:30 - 12:00: We reach Su Pan, where you will have lunch at the local Vietnamese restaurant.
13:00: We will continue walking from the restaurant to the center of the Su Pan, this is a small village close to the mountains of Black Hmong people.
From here, you can shoot photos with a panorama view of rice fields, the locals here live in small traditional houses, and life is still true to nature.
14:00: After visiting Su Pan, we will continue on a little jungle route to Ban Lech Hmong village, where you will see the incredible view of Muong Hoa valley (forward to Sapa town), which is 1.500 meters above the level sea – this view will be your own.
This hill is also called Tiger Mountains because a long time ago the tigers were living in this place, it’s a true story – Our guide will explain to you more about it. We will then go downhill to the Lech Dao, where you will see the different ethnic minorities of the Red Dao people; this tribe is known for their expertise in herbal medicine and the usage of plants from the land to treat many illnesses.
16:30: We will arrive at the Red Dao tribe Homestay, you will have time to take a hot shower and wait for your dinner.
07:30: Wake up in the morning; here, you will have a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of the rice terrace fields. Then you will have a delicious breakfast.
09:00: We will start the trek to Lech Hmong, a village of the Black H’Mong Ethnic minorities.
You will get to see the beautiful view and friendly people and learn more about the unique Hmong marriage tradition. We arrive at the top of Lech Hmong Mountain View, here, you will see the panorama view of this village. It is a fabulous view. Here is no tourism, the light will be your own.
11:30: We then downhill to a valley with a fantastic panorama view and have lunch at the local restaurant.
We will arrive at the bottom, at a small traditional village of Red Dao people. You will have lunch at the local house and learn about their authentic life. This tribble has the traditional cooking wine, and they use many treatments, especially medicinal baths, and know which plants from the forest to use to treat many illnesses.
13:30 : After lunch, we will walk to the main route of the villages and the car come to pick up back to Sapa
Walk a bit to the hill and you see the valley and mountain in the village, forward to the main road and you can have a short talk to other local people then the car will come to pick you back to Sapa town for the bus or hotel.

CANCELLATION POLICY BY TIME
Cancel 15 days before departure date: Guests will be refunded 100% of the tour cost.
Cancel from 7 to 14 days: Guests will lose 30% of the tour cost.
Cancel from 3 to 6 days: Guests will lose 50% of the tour cost.
Cancel within 48 hours before departure: Tour cost will not be refunded.
CANCELLATION POLICY IN SPECIAL CASES
Due to bad weather conditions or natural disasters: If there is a storm or the weather does not ensure safety for the trip, the company may cancel the tour. In this case, you will usually be refunded 100% of the cost or change to another day depending on the conditions.
Customers cancel due to health or personal reasons: Usually need to have verification documents (certificate from a doctor or medical records). The company will consider and may refund a part of the cost depending on each specific case.
In case the company cancels due to insufficient number of guests: If the tour requires a minimum number of guests and not enough people register, the company will refund the full cost or transfer guests to another tour.
